1.Remove the fairing
Remove the fairing and check the back side of STD fairing . Most of the STD fairing have a material label on the back side. You can check if the faring is bondable material with PLASFIX.

Q1:What materials can be repaired by PlasFIX?
A: ABS fairing can be repaired with PlasFIX, but some fairing materials like PP or off-road bike fairing can't be repaired by PlasFIX
Q2: How do I know what material is my fairing?
A: Remove the fairing and turn it to the back. Usually there will be material label!
Q3: Is all I have to do just drop the PlasFIX adhesive into the place to be repaired?
A: There are many front-end jobs to be done before repair by PlasFIX. Like, the dirt on the fairing and the paint should be removed. For the smooth surface , it should be ground with a rotary tool or sandpaper first.And prepare the necessary tools, such as a rotary tool, sandpaper, clean cloth, etc. PlasFIX teaching film, which has detailed instructions!
Q4: Can it completely cured in just 8 minutes?
A: It can cured in 8 minutes under the condition that the temperature is higher than 25 degrees C, but it takes longer time if the temperature is lower!
Q5: Does the strength after bond the same as before?
A: The strength of PlasFIX material is about the same as ABS material.Since only the fracture surface is bonded between the PlasFIX adhesive and fairing.It may be broken again from the fracture surface by impact of external force. If there are safety concerns,please replace the new product for safety!
Q6: My motorcycle fairing is broken into two pieces ，can it be repaired by PlasFIX?
A: Since only the fracture surface is bonded between the PlasFIX adhesive and fairing.It may be broken again from the fracture surface by impact of external force.
If the fracture surface is too big, please replace a new one!
Q7: Is it necessary pour the liquid back into the original bottle after use?
A: Because PlasFIX liquid is highly volatile liquid, if it is stored in the needle bottle, it will quickly evaporate, and the needle bottle can not seal the pungent smell, so it is recommended to pour the liquid back and save in the glass bottle!
Q8: How many fairing can repaired by 1 PlasFIX?
A: A FP-18 (powder 8g / liquid 10ml) is mixed in proportion and the volume is about 12ml，which can fill a crack of about 30-50cm !
USAGE TIPS
Pick up adhesive with the tip of the needle after liquid & powder mixed , and drop the mixed adhesive on the repair area, be sure to squeeze out a little liquid and let the adhesive "just drop". This is Just the right ratio.Do not add too much liquid, otherwise it will make the curing time longer or the strength is insufficient.
When dropping the liquid onto the powder, be sure not to let the mixed adhesive touch the cup, otherwise the adhesive will not be able to pick up with the needle, and keep the powder in the cup over half at least
Keep the liquid in the needle bottle at least over half. If it is less than half, even if the bottle is not pressed under the condition of the needle down, the liquid will flow out from the hole due to the pressure, but as long as it is more than half This does not happen.
When the adhesive on the needle tip is still soft after used, wipe it with a clean cloth or tissue paper, and do not let the mixture flow to the opening hole in the middle of the needle body, then the needle can be used repeatedly.
NOTICE IN USE

The mixing ratio of the powder and solution is approximately 2.1:1 (by weight). Since the solution evaporates quickly and first-time users may add too much solution, each package comes with a larger amount of solution than what is needed for the recommended mixing ratio.
After mixing in the recommended proportions, one package of FP80 yields approximately 45 ml of adhesive.
The shelf life of the powder and solution is 18 months.
The solution may turn slightly yellow after stored for a period of time, the white-set resulting in a slightly yellow color when cured.
Due to the nature of the powder and the design of the specialized tools, there are size limitations for items that can be bonded using this product. The size of the mixed adhesive is approximately equivalent to 2-3 drops of water. For repairing very small parts, more advanced repair skills may be required.
